President Truman feels this is a State of Emergency then somewhat fumblingly gives a speech about it. About how this onslaught may mean another war.. That didnt happen.
Next, Personal appearances! Oh, its the Prime Minister of Britain! Hes here to talk about Korea as well. Hes here for a WEEK! Woo! He gives a chipper speech to the press club while hes here too.
Next, still on the war front, the chairman of defense production is announced.. Its the President of General Electric! What? Isnt that sort of a conflict of interest, and total favoritism? Even though he resigned? Id say so!
I love the next caption.. Red Chinas Gen. Wu, comes to the U.N. blames the U.S. for Korea, then goes home again. Well, isnt that obvious? Its the Americans fault! See? Russia agrees with us!! OK, back to China I go (via Moscow). A pretty strange segment..

Meanwhile, 31 million Protestants unite for a special council! Wow thats a LOT of protestants.. Oh I see.. a bunch of churches banded together to form one council! They too pray for the United Nations..
Next! Mt Etna erupts again in Sicily! People flee, people climb the mountain to watch (I know I would) and some people have a religious pilgrimage up the volcano to ask God to stop it!! Wow.

Next, an overview of the college bowl games.. Not much here if youre not into football, however theres some great floats in the Orange Bowl parade (who PAYS for these by the way?) and actually, the football scenes are somewhat exciting..
